The Tango Club Reykjavík in conjuction with the Reykjavík Winter Festival present a 24 hour tango marathon with dj and live music\, a nd prizes! \;
\n\nDJ Riku Kotiranta is our guest DJ. Included in
the marathon are workshops with Riku and Samira Abutaleb and Hany Had
aya and Bryndís Halldórsdóttir\, plus performances by the instructors in
the evening. In addition\, 2 local groups will play live music for part of
the evening. And the rest of the night is dancing and more dancing\, endin
g with the announcement of the winners and a brunch! The whole event takes
place in the lovely\, historic Iðno Theatre by the pond. Registration to t
he event costs only 500 isk (50 sek)!
