Esteban & Evelyn – 10 -12 October 2008 in Malmö

 

In the beginning of October we will enjoy the company of the interesting and dynamic tangocouple Esteban and Evelyn. During a weekend we will work and investigate tango together; searching for comfort, dynamics and expression!

 

Esteban Cortez and Evelyn Rivera are well known tango dancers and teachers working all over the world; latest touring with Tangocamp and around Europe. They also worked as choreographers and dancers with Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra and also in the show "Flor de Tango".

Workshops

 

The workshops are held on two levels; 

Int - intermediate dancers knowing the basics and a bit more.

Exp - experienced dancers who have been dancing a couple of years. 

All levels – means all levels : )

 

Workshop 1 – Boleos - leading and energy in circular and linear boleos. All levels.

Workshop 2 - Musicality - structure of the music, rythm and syncopation. Int.

Workshop 3 – Ganchos - technique and leading. Int.

Workshop 4 – Ganchos against the movement. Exp. 

Workshop 5 – Elasticos. Exp.

Workshop 6 – Complex combinations. Exp. 

 

Milongas

 

There will be three milongas during the weekend and during Saturday night you have the possibility to enjoy a wonderful performance with Esteban and Evelyn!

 

Breakfast tango

 

During the breakfast tango you have the possibility to eat a good breakfast and also warm up before the workshops! The breakfast you book in advance but for dancing you can just show up.

 

 

Prices

 

1 workshop – 200 kr

Package intermediate - 600 kr - Workshops no 1, 2 and 3. All    milongas. 

Package experienced - 600 kr - Workshops no 4, 5 and 6. All   milongas. 

Package  total – 1000 kr - All workshops and milongas.

 

Breakfast tango – tango and food – 40 kr. Only tango – 20 kr.

Friday milonga – 50 kr

Saturday milonga - 80 kr

Sunday milonga – 20 kr
