Veronica Toumanova

Tango is a drug, I am an addict and there is no cure yet. Fortunately.

Born in Moscow, Russia, lived in The Netherlands for 14 years, moved to Germany, will move to Paris in 2007. Travel junky too, I guess.

As a little girl was dancing in front of the television set as soon as there was music on it, and playing 'ballet school' until my girl-friends were bored out of their minds. Started dancing tango in 2000 in El Corte, Nijmegen, after some years of contemporary dance, hiphop and jazz. Currently still do contemporary dance, yoga and classical ballet. Took many classes with mostly Chicho & Eugenia, Sebastian & Mariana and Pablo & Dana: with the latter intensively during my last stay in Buenos Aires.

Started teaching tango not so long ago (2007) and enjoy it very much.

Still have a 'normal' life - although not that much :-) - working as a User Interface Designer (yes, I know, nobody has any idea what it is, so I can remain mysterious :-)) and writing literature. My first novel (in Dutch) was published in 2003. Working on - finishing - the second novel in 2007.
