Being enthusiastic...
I had the pleasure to discover Gaston Torelli & Mariela Sametband here in Buenos Aires. Their performances in “Practica X” and in “Canning” impressed me very much. They have built something very unique in the tango through their years of dancing together: So creative, intense, connected...
Their dancing touches me... Other dancers impress through acrobatic movements, fastness, precision, musicality... These two dancers have some of all of this but beyond that it seems to me that their dance comes from their hearts. And so it touches something inside me. It made me so happy to see them dancing...
After all, that is what for me tango dancing is all about: expressing and communicating to and together with your partner.

I have only seen them on YuoTube not live, but it looks wonderful even on the screen. Excellent tecnique and as you say their hearts and musicality shines through and gives the dance a very personal character.
