Johnny presenterar sig själv så här:
It was in the fall of 2005 I finally discovered, at the age of 37, that I had always had inside me this thing called the Tango.
Since then I have incessantly laboured to improve my skill and technique, allowing me to express the tango inside me more clearly and more purely. Rather like a sculptor chipping away at a block of marble, in order to expose the figure that had always been there, inside the marble...
I know the tango will be a long and challenging journey of discovery. Hopefully one that will last me a lifetime. Changing, and enriching me along the way, with the experiences of the women that chooses to enter 'La Pista' along with me and merge with me into that singular entity - part man, part woman, part music, all tango.
As for the music, I'm equally fond of Pugliese and Bajofondo, D'Arienzo and Otros Aires, Carlos Gardel and Sandra Luna. Just listen with an open mind and you may always discover something new that can move you...
(Nåh ja, jeg er dansker men skriver altså bedre på engelsk end jeg gør på svensk... :-) )
