Bryndís presenterar sig själv så här:

I was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. I studied classical ballet in the Nationanal Ballet School in Iceland and jazz and modern danse in various dance schools. I am educated as a social educator and finished a B.A. degree in philosophy and litterature from the University of Iceland.

I have danced, taught and performed Argentine tango with my partner Hany Hadaya since 1996. We have participated in many workshops and festivals in Europe and Buenos Aires. Our main teachers are Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, Cecilia Gonzalez, Mariano “Chicho” Frumboli and Eugenia Parilla.

Since 1996 I teach tango regulary in a well known Dancestudio in Reykjavik, Kramhusid. Whith my partner I give workshop in three different levels and private lessons. I also teach acting students in the Departments of Drama of the Iceland Academy of Arts, since 2001. In the last years I have given many workshops in other dansschools in Reykjavík, Hafnarfjörður, Akureyri, Akranes and Reykjanesbær. http://www.tango.is/bryndisoghany.htm

I founded the Tango Club Reykjavik with some tangofriends in April 2000. I am one of the organizers of the annual international Tangofestival in Reykjavik, TANGO on ICEland. More informations are to be found on our webside: http://www.tango.is
